Arrested Judges: Court Summons Buhari, DSS

Nigerian Government Detains Little Children Without Bail Over Religious Differences

At least 13 young children have been detained for two weeks so far by the Jos state government in Nigeria's northern region since a recent ban on activities of minority Muslims of the Shia ideology.

Held since Wednesday 12th October, 2016 the kids were charged for "disturbance of public peace."

Woman Sentenced To Prison For N5.6million Fraud



A female CEO, Chika Amsy Charles, has been sentenced to 90 years in Prison by a federal high court in Enugu for N5.6m fraud. She perpetrated the fraud with two others who are currently at large.

Chika was dragged before Justice D.V Agishir by the EFCC.

A 12-year-old girl, Mmesoma Ani, has been admitted to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Surulere, after she was allegedly tortured by her aunt, Mrs. Ogechi Iruwane.

It was said that the woman, a mother of three, allegedly used her bare hands to pinch off the victim’s chest, and inflicted injuries on her back. This girl was also said to have been starved for two days for allegedly stealing a piece of meat.
